We can’t find it in stores, it’s not available online, and the company isn’t responding to our inquiries, so we have to assume that Jen’s Zen Chocolate Sauce has been discontinued. Emmy’s has also been discontinued. But you can make your own Vegan Hot Fudge or 2-Ingredient Chocolate Sauce.
You may have been wondering what luscious goodness was drizzled on those dairy-free chocolate chip cookie cup sundaes (pictured again below) from last week. While I would love to take credit and proclaim it homemade, I confess that it was a little bit of a cheat. I used Jens Zen Chocolate Sauce, a dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free and vegan treat.
And, I have good news, Jens Zen Chocolate Sauce tastes as amazing as it looks. My niece proclaimed it to be “almost as good as Hershey’s fudge sauce!” And believe me, this is insanely high praise from that young lady. She also continued to verify how good it was with every dip and spoonful.
The dairy-free magic in Jens Zen Chocolate Sauce comes from organic coconut milk, coconut oil, and pure chocolate ingredients. It’s rich, like a slightly dark semi-sweet chocolate. It’s also thick, decadent, and tastes just like fudge when chilled! When warmed, we enjoyed it as a dip for fresh fruit, and of course, drizzled over dairy-free ice cream.
Note that Jens Zen Chocolate Sauce also comes in Raspberry and Peppermint varieties, but at this time, we only sampled the Original.
