Nature’s All Foods is a division of Natierra that produces amazingly pure freeze-dried fruits (love them in recipes!), but for a snack-worthy indulgence, they go a step further by dipping some of the varieties in rich dark chocolate.
This is one of the very few dark chocolate covered fruit options on the market that is not only dairy-free and vegan, but also free of funky coating ingredients (like wax!). They use a smooth dark chocolate that’s organic and fair trade to coat their freeze-dried fruit for a unique, pure, more luxurious taste.
I loved the way the Bananas dissolved in my mouth and how well the flavor melded with the perfectly sweet dark chocolate.
We didn’t sample the Mangoes, but the Strawberries were a little crispier and sharper in taste – not as much my style (I’m not a huge fan of chocolate-covered strawberries), but good nonetheless. Tony wasn’t in love with this dark chocolate covered fruit – he said the taste was good, but the experience reminded him of Whoppers, which he doesn’t love.
To note, Natierra offers another chocolate-covered product line under their Himalania brand. We sampled the Organic Dark Chocolate Covered Chia Seeds, which are quite taste, but tiny, little bites! But if you do opt for Himalania, take note that some of those products (like the yogurt covered and milk chocolate covered) do contain dairy.
