Alisa Fleming ~ What started out as a little niche company offering a semi-sweet selection of gluten and dairy free chocolate has turned into a very popular chocolatier with a broad selection of confections and a full range of dark, milk, and white dairy-free chocolates!
It’s no secret that I’ve been a fan of Premium Chocolatiers since day one. I’ve recommended their goodies both on- and off-line to hundreds (probably thousands!) of people. But what I love most about them is how they don’t sit back on their laurels, content with a few in-demand options. They keep creating, changing, and perfecting. Every single season I’m completely amazed by the varieties of gluten and dairy free chocolate that they come up with. There is always something new, from adorable monkeys to long-stem chocolate roses.
Whether it’s Easter, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Halloween, or even Father’s Day, Premium Chocolatiers offers some really tasty gluten and dairy free chocolate. But, I went for the big guns, sampling their Christmas and holiday offerings.
First, I’ll briefly share why I like their chocolate, in particular. I’m not into harsh, bitter, or chalky chocolate. I prefer smooth and creamy, and I don’t mind my chocolate on the sweet side. I find the gluten and dairy free chocolate from Premium Chocolatiers to be more cocoa butter-y than a lot of the other dairy-free options, whether it is their “dark” (it’s a relatively mild or semi-sweet dark), “milk,” or white chocolate.
And it helps that everything they make is adorable …

The red gift box is filled with dairy-free “Milk” Chocolate-Covered Gluten-Free Pretzels. The pretzels were surprisingly light and crispy, yet they had quite the crunch! They were completely and perfectly coated in a modest layer of “milk” chocolate for a pleasant treat that wasn’t overly sweet.
The snowman box was filled with Strawberry Creams …

The rich dark chocolate outer contrasted nicely with the soft and creamy frosting-like filling. These reminded me just a touch of those sweet chocolate-covered cherry chocolates that pop up everywhere during the holiday season.

Of course, they have a more refined look for the Dark Chocolate-Covered Pretzels. These were equally tasty and crispy, and perfect for those who like semi-sweet chocolate. Hiding behind those pretzels are some individually wrapped hollow Chocolate Christmas Trees with a white chocolate base, “milk” chocolate tree, and dark chocolate decorations! Since it’s hard to see in my picture, I stole a prettier and clearer picture from the Premium Chocolatiers website.

We also enjoyed their individually-wrapped hollow Santa gluten and dairy free chocolate figurines. They were equally tasty, but I confess to liking the little white chocolate bonus on the Christmas trees! Again, he’s hiding in my picture, but I don’t think they’ll mind me borrowing this cute picture to show you the detail …

Dietary Notes: By ingredients, their chocolate is vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, tree nut-free, and peanut-free. At last check with the company, Premium Chocolatiers has their own facility where they incorporate allergen-safe practices, but contact the company for allergen and manufacturing “may contain” information whenever a severe allergen is a concern. Ingredients and manufacturing processes can change at any time.
