I trialed hemp milk with this easy recipe from the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Juicing. It worked great!
- 1 1/2 cups blueberries
- 2 pears
- 2 bananas
- 1 cup plain soy milk (or other milk alternative of choice)
- 2 pear wedges for garnish (optional)
Rinse blueberries. Rinse pears and cut into quarters. Peel and slice bananas. Push blueberries and pears through the juicer, and process until juiced. Pour juice into a blender and add bananas and soy milk. Blend for 30 seconds, and pour juice into two glasses. Serve immediately, garnished with pear wedges if desired.
Variation: To pulp (blend) this recipe in a blender or food processor fitted with a steel blade, core pears and cut all ingredients into pieces no larger than 1 inch. Add bananas and soymilk along with other ingredients.
