Recipe from Blue Diamond Growers…
- 5 cups Vanilla Almond Breeze®
- 3 1/2 cups Old fashioned rolled oats
- 2 tsp. Sea salt
- 2 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- Almond extract to taste (optional)
Bring Vanilla Almond Breeze® to boil over medium heat. Stir in oats, sea salt, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Cook 5-8 minutes until creamy, stirring frequently. Add almond extract if desired.
Yield: 2 Servings
Prep time 2 minutes. Cook time 5-10 minutes.
Add dried fruit such as raisins, cherries, or apricots to the oatmeal while cooking. Top with brown sugar and toasted Blue Diamond® Almonds.
