Special Diet Notes: Orange Cashew Dressing
By ingredients, this recipe is dairy-free / non-dairy, egg-free, gluten-free, grain-free, peanut-free, soy-free, vegan, plant-based, and vegetarian.
- 2 peeled navel oranges
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ cup raw cashews
- 2 tbsp. of blood orange vinegar or pear vinegar
- Blend ingredients until silkly smooth. Use liberally on salad or as vegetable dip.

I made this dressing and it’s very thick, like a paste
Cashews do thicken quite a bit. You can add more juice or water, but we will take a look at this contributed recipe further (it’s from Dr. Fuhrman). Sorry that it did not work out well for you Lorena!
