This recipe for dairy-free piña colada milkshakes was submitted by Chloe Nicholls for one of our fast and easy dairy-free recipe contests. She uses three simple ingredients to make this deliciously creamy dessert at home! See our notes below to help choose your ingredients.
Vegan Piña Colada Milkshakes with Creamy Coconut Milk Ice Cream
To keep these dairy-free piña colada milkshakes creamy, Chloe uses pineapple juice instead of pineapple. Fresh pineapple has lots of fibers that can make drinking a shake less pleasant, but the juice keeps it smooth.
When Chloe created this recipe, So Delicious had a Coconut-flavored coconut milk ice cream. It is no longer available, but their Vanilla Coconut Milk Ice Cream and No Sugar Added Vanilla Coconut Milk Ice Cream are still delicious in these shakes. At last check, Cosmic Bliss still had a coconut variety. But you can alternatively make your own dairy-free coconut milk ice cream, ice milk, or frozen custard!
