I racked my brain for a headline, but in the end the simplicity of those two little words, "brewed chocolate," seemed to sum it all up while still adding an element of intrigue. I first heard of this concept via a news announcement from Expo East, the ginormous foodie/health conference. Going by the name Cabaret, it was immediately obvious that this was a gift-worthy indulgence (and definitely a fun addition to gift baskets), but of course, I had to sample it myself before thinking about passing it on to loved ones. To add some depth to our Go Dairy Free review, both myself and Hannah reviewed this semi-petite jar of lightly sweetened syrup. She is a coffee and tea-fanatic, while I actually loathe the coffee bean, but do have a love of tea and a mild affinity for hot cocoa. Though our palates may be quite different, both her review and my review can testify how wonderful and unique this product truly is.
