This 1930’s conch house turned restaurant is known for its all-you-can-eat seafood, but their menu is packed with a lot more. Ballyhoo’s serves every type of seafood you can think of, including stone crab, char-grilled oysters, and sushi-grade tuna. On Friday nights you can even join them for a fish fry! They also offer top grade steaks and dishes with Southern flair.
In terms of special diets, many of the offerings at Ballyhoo’s are naturally dairy-free. Plus they provide a vegetarian/vegan menu upon request. And we aren’t talking about a paltry listing with a house salad and a tomato pasta. Ballyhoo’s makes their own dairy-free vegan cheese from coconut milk! It’s available in their grilled “cheese” sandwich with house-made beer bread and a cup of soup. Other vegan entree selections include Sweet Potato Burgers, Black Bean Tacos, House Vegetable Curry, and much more. You don’t even have to miss out on dessert because they make a handful of vegan desserts, including Mango Creme Brulee.
They also offer a full gluten-free menu that features starters, sides, entrees, and even decadent desserts. But take note that the gluten-free menu is not labeled for dairy-free, too. You will need to inquire for dairy-free needs specifically.
Ballyhoo’s is open for lunch and dinner, with indoor or outdoor seating on their charming patio. All of their menus are viewable on their website below.
