Biscuit Head is a casual breakfast and lunch spot that specializes in, you guessed it, bisuits! Although they don’t have a biscuit that is “just” dairy free, this Southern charm restaurant offers a gluten-free and vegan biscuit. It’s a dollar more than the traditional biscuit, but a worthwhile treat for special diet needs.
To go with it, Biscuit Head has a gluten-free and vegan sweet potato coconut gravy and a veggie “chorizo” gravy. The veggie “chorizo” is house made and reportedly vegan. Beyond biscuits, we’ve been told that their breakfast potatoes can be made vegan.
They also serve a wide range of breakfast and lunch meats and egg dishes that can be dairy free. We were told by the Biscuit Head staff:
Our eggs can be cooked without dairy and our potatoes can be served without the cheese used to garnish them.
And their other dairy free options include sriracha slaw, calaloo collards, sriracha sausage, country ham, brisket, pulled pork, bacon, mimosa fried chicken, red eye gravy, kale salad, and granola.
Many people have stated that they have nice customer service to go with the delicious food. We also found them very responsive with special requests.
