Renowned vegan chef Jason Wyrick has opened his first restaurant in Glendale’s historic downtown. Casa Terra is Arizona’s first fully plant-based upscale restaurant, serving a fusion menu of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine.
Casa Terra Gives Glendale Arizona a Vegan Taste for Fine Dining
Wyrick has been actively involved in the vegan community for over 15 years, as a chef, speaker, and best-selling author. He penned two cookbooks of his own, Vegan Tacos and Vegan Mexico, and co-authored 21 Day Weightloss Kickstart with Neal Barnard, MD. Wyrick actually went vegan for his health, which reversed his diabetes and spurred a 100 pound weight loss. He shares his full story here.
With Casa Terra, Executive Chef Wyrick has brought together a team of some of the Valley’s best chefs to serve creative and regional dishes with influences from Mexico, Spain, and Italy. The menu includes innovative wood-fired pizzas, tapas, gnocchi, risotto, churros, flan, and so many more indulgences made from scratch. And everything is dairy-free, egg-free, fish-free, and meat-free.
Casa Terra also serves an expansive drink menu with hand-crafted cocktails and organic, biodynamic wines. For non-alcoholic cravings, they offer organic teas, espresso, and coffee drinks. And we’ve heard their friendly staff is very friendly and accommodating.
