Pancheros Mexican Grill Let’s You Customize Dairy-Free or Vegan Bowls

By Alisa Fleming on January 12, 2022 Dining Out, Suggested Restaurants, U.S. Restaurants

Updated February 2022! Thank you to Amy for emailing in a recommendation for Pancheros Mexican Grill. It’s a build-your-own Tex Mex chain, similar to Chipotle and Qdoba. They’re famous for making their own tortillas onsite, but alas, those tortillas contain dairy. Nonetheless, Pancheros has more than enough dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan menu items to keep everyone satisfied.

Unfortunately, the tortillas (both sizes) at Pancheros contain milk powder. So you’ll have to skip the burritos and tacos. But that still leaves you with a bowl full of options for topping rice or salad.

Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: All of the following dairy-free menu items at are also made without eggs, gluten, nuts, peanuts, and soy, unless otherwise noted. For vegan options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post.
