Crossroads Kitchen is an upscale Mediterranean plant-based restaurant in Los Angeles and the first vegan spot to have a full bar. This trendy spot is run by famed chef Tal Ronnen (the creator of Gardein), and is a restaurant where vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores happily dine together.

The menu at Crossroads Kitchen is comprised of small plate items perfect for sharing and allows you to try many more dishes. They do also offer full plate meals. There are assorted soups, salads, pastas, and “Comforting Classics”. The cocktail menu is also very extensive, it’s full of carefully crafted drinks made with fresh ingredients.

Crossroads Kitchen offers brunch and dinner everyday. Their brunch menu is just as unique and creative as their dinner. It includes dishes like “chicken” and waffles, pancakes, and the always popular Crossroads Benedict. And dessert should not to be missed! Their decadent sweets are beautifully crafted and frequently change with the seasons.

Alisa’s Note:

Tony and I had the pleasure of dining at Crossroads Kitchen for dinner with my good friend Tess Masters and her close friend. She raved about this restaurant since it is Chef Tal Ronnen’s “home” restaurant, and it didn’t disappoint. We sampled the dairy-free nut cheeses and several small plates, which were all enjoyed and well presented.

Most of our party was gluten free, and this wasn’t an issue. Gluten-free items are clearly labeled on the menu, and several dishes can easily be altered. They were very accommodating.

The atmosphere was intimate but still modern and lively. I highly recommend it for date night or meeting with friends. The cocktails looked intriguing, but they also have a great wine list.

  1. This looks delicious! Hopefully I can check it out when we’re down in March, it’s been on my list. I have the Crossroads Kitchen Cookbook and it’s good! I’ve made a couple recipes from it and they were both amazing!

  2. I visited Crossroads Kitchen for the first time two weeks ago and it was wonderful! The plates are perfect for sharing so you can try a bit of everything, and it was all SO GOOD. They also had a separate menu to accommodate folks like me who have an allergy to nuts. That was much appreciated. To top off the experience, Keanu Reeves sat right behind us, which was pretty cool.
