PA, Scranton – Eden-A Vegan Cafe: Comfort Food Central

The menu at this popular restaurant reads like a dairy-rich, carnivorous diner. If not for the name “Eden-A Vegan Cafe” stamped on the top, you might not even know it’s completely plant-based! They offer pizzas with heaps of dairy-free cheese, and sandwiches with every meat alternative imaginable. It’s an epicenter of vegan comfort food that omnivorous diners rave about, too.

Beyond their everyday hearty menu, Eden-A Vegan Cafe serves smoothies and house-made desserts. The treats range from fresh-baked quick bread to decadent cheesecakes.

They also offer food to go, including prepared feasts for the holidays.

  1. Love, love, love Eden – a vegan café! One of my former jobs required a trip to Scranton 2x per year and a meal at Eden was always something I looked forward to. (It was THE best part of that miserable job. 🙂 They’re great people, too, the kind who become immediate friends. Highly recommended!
