Thanks to Faye for recommending Flying Saucer Pizza Company to us via Facebook:
We were visiting in the summer from the UK and chanced upon this place for dinner. I’m dairy free so having vegan pizza options on the menu was fab and tasted delicious! The place has a great vibe too. I only wish I had known about Jodi Bees Bakes as well so I could have had dessert!!
And boy do they have a lot of options. Apparently they even offer dairy-free dessert sometimes! We spotted a vegan mocha fudge cake on their Facebook page that they had on special. So don’t forget to ask!
As for the daily offerings, they have vegan mozzarella, vegan cheddar, vegan sausage, vegan meatballs, and vegan mac & cheese – yes, for a topping! They also sprinkle on some unique veggie-forward toppings, and have four vegan specialty pizzas right on the menu.
For sauces, it appears that their red sauce, pesto, and evoo & garlic spreads are all dairy-free and vegan. Dairy-free diners can choose from even more topping options, but I would check in store to confirm which meats are made without dairy. Gluten-free crust is also available, but you’ll need to confirm if it is dairy-free and/or vegan.
Flying Saucer Pizza Company does have online ordering and delivery. But if you opt to eat in then you can enjoy some craft beer and cocktails with your dairy-free pie.
