NY, New York City – Hu Kitchen

I discovered Hu Kitchen at Expo West, where they were showcasing their awesome paleo chocolate bars. To my surprise, their was a whole restaurant beyond the chocolate, with an extensive menu that is all gluten-free and mostly dairy-free and grain-free.

The people behind Hu Kitchen have a paleo focus, so you’ll find plenty of “caveman” options as well as quite a bit for vegan diners, too. And of course, they focus on organic, raw, grass-fed, and other sustainable, healthy ingredient practices.

Hu Kitchen dishes up breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and even has a small “market” of to-go goodies (think raw nut brownies, organic chia puddings, kale chips, and more). Their menu offerings include everything from iced coconut coffee and chai lattes to juices and smoothies to paleo breakfast burritos and vegan veg loaf. Seriously, you have to check out the menu on their website to believe it!
