Founded in 2010 by lifelong friends Craig Cochran and Michael Pease, Terri’s first location opened in Chelsea (60 West 23rd St.) to overwhelming success. In 2013 a second store was added in the Financial District (100 Maiden Lane) with similar results, making Terri one of the busiest vegan restaurant chains in the country serving over 2,000 customers a day. The menu includes many signature items, such as the ‘Meatball’ Sub, ‘Fish’ Filet made with cashews and hearts of palm, and Green Power Smoothie, hailed as “World’s Best Green Smoothie” by BuzzFeed in 2015.
Beyond those highlights, the diverse menu at Terri includes an array of sandwiches, wraps, breakfast “egg” muffins, salads, soups, smoothies, juices, and yes, desserts. Dairy-free, gluten-free, and egg-free cupcakes, brownies, cookies, donuts and more are made fresh daily. All items at Terri are vegan, kosher, and can be made gluten free.
