NY, New York – Blossom: Elegant Vegan Comfort Food

Blossom is a small, elegant collection (they currently have two locations, noted below) of vegan restaurants in New York City. The cuisine is a little fancy, but unpretentious, with comfort food flair. They also run the more casual local chain, Blossom Du Jour.

Every menu at Blossom is dairy-free and vegan, with extensive options for brunch, lunch, and dinner. And they aren’t shy on indulgence. You can expect to find items like French Toast and Caesar Salad (yes, without eggs or dairy!). They also offer several cheesy dishes, such as Buffalo Risotto Croquettes with Blue Cheese Sauce and Portobello Paninis with Vegan Mozzarella. To wash it all down, they have a carefully selected wine menu, local and organic craft beers, and a nice selection of coffee and tea drinks.

And you must not skip dessert! It can include apple cobbler, cheesecake (pictured below), tiramisu, or a “cashewtopia” of dairy-free ice cream.

This plant-based restaurant also includes reference to gluten-free (there are many), nut-free, and soy-free offerings right on their menus.
