Pizza Pizza has the Biggest Dairy-Free & Vegan Menus Around

    0
By Alisa Fleming on January 25, 2023 Dining Out, Suggested Restaurants, U.S. Restaurants

Updated January 2023! A few years ago, Pizza Pizza teamed up with Violife to launch dairy-free cheese at all of their locations. But they didn’t stop there. They’ve since added two types of plant-based meats, all of their crusts are now dairy-free (and many are gluten-free and/or vegan), and they have numerous non-dairy sauce and topping options. We were also surprised to find out how many appetizers we can enjoy at this popular Canadian chain. This dairy-free menu includes wings and bites (made with chicken raised without antibiotics), fries and onion rings (sans trans fats), and more.

Pizza Pizza Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Vegan Options

Pizza Pizza Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Allergen & Vegan Options

This Canadian chain has a very sizable dairy-free menu. It’s outline below, starting with the menu items, followed by everything you need to build your own dairy-free pizza. Be aware of special order requirements in parentheses () next to the menu items, and see the Heads Up notes to help fill in the blanks.

Fryer Note: Pizza Pizza might use shared fryers for many of their items. Be sure to check at your location if concerned about potential cross contamination with allergens in the fryers.

Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: All of the items listed below are made without egg, nuts, peanut, soy, and wheat, unless otherwise noted. For vegan options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post.

    Apps & Sides

    • Fries (contains wheat)
    • Onion Rings (contains soy, wheat)
    • Popcorn Chicken (contains soy, wheat)
    • Potato Wedges (contains wheat)
    • Sweet Potato Fries

Heads Up! Aside from the obvious cheesy items, the Breaded Pickle Spears, Garlic Bread, and Cauliflower Bites do contain milk. See Dipping Sauce Options below.

    Salads

Custom Order: Some Pizza Pizza locations offer Caesar salads, which are made with croutons, cheese, and Caesar dressing – all of which contain dairy. That pretty much leaves you with lettuce! But you can custom order with Grilled Chicken and/or Bacon on top (both are listed as made without top allergens), additional vegetable toppings, and a dairy-free sauce or dressing (if available). However, it does look like they might be phasing out salads.
