ON, Toronto – Seven Lives Paleteria

Seven Lives Paleteria is a cheerful spot that’s heavily decorated in summery pink and blue. They’re specialties include paletas, otherwise known as Mexican popsicles. These house-made frozen desserts on a stick include traditional fruit flavors and some unique flavors. Most of the varieties are dairy-free and vegan, including their popular rice milk-infused Froot Loop paletas.

The owner stocks a freezer case with more than a dozen rotating flavors of paletas, but be warned that a few do contain dairy.

In addition to the pops, Seven Lives Paleteria has a big assortment of other Mexican-inspired frozen desserts. They offer everything from vegan soft serve Dole Whip floats (a nod to Disney!) to dairy-free sorbet creations. Two popular items include the Mangonada and Horchata con Tuna (don’t worry, there’s no fish!). They even have dairy-free coconut whipped cream for topping your favorite soft-serve sundae.

Nonetheless, if you aren’t in the mood for something elaborate, simply order a cup or cone of any soft serve or sorbet on the menu.
