Skull & Cakebones of Austin Specializes in Vegan Craft Baking

0

Located on the outskirts of Austin, Skull & Cakebones is a locally-owned craft bakery and coffee shop that happens to be 100% vegan.

Everything is baked fresh daily and made with locally-sourced ingredients as much as possible. You’ll be delighted to find a big variety of croissants, danishes, cookies, cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, and more! What you won’t find in this bakery is anything artificial! Even their food colorings are made with fruits and vegetables. And they do bake special order cakes.

Along with their array of baked sweets, they offer light lunches and weekend brunch. The comfort food menu features items like “Chicken” Pot Pie, Falafel Toast, Grilled Cheese on house made sourdough, and Cornmeal Pancakes with all the fixings. They also have pizza with gluten-free options.

And they do have many grab-and-go items like trifles, cookie dough, chocolate pudding, nut milk, and kombucha.
