CO, Multiple Locations – Larkburger


When my two friends, Alexa of Lexie's Kitchen and Kelly of The Spunky Coconut, posted raves about this restaurant, I knew I had to investigate. They love it for the gluten-free goodness. This healthier burger joint offers gluten-free buns, but alas, they aren't dairy-free too. Nonetheless, they do have many dairy-free offerings.

Here are the foods to avoid for dairy-free: "There is dairy in our Tillamook Cheddar, Grilled Cheese, Truffle and Parmesan Fries, Ranch Dressing, Truffle Ranch Dressing, Milkshakes, our gluten-free buns and our regular buns used for all our burgers (our regular buns are griddled in butter but dairy is not an ingredient in the regular bun itself)."

So you can order the regular buns un-griddled or simple go "animal style;" all sandwiches can be ordered wrapped in lettuce for a low-carb and naturally free-from option. And this still leaves their regular burger, turkey burger, tuna burger, vegetarian portobella "burger," hand cut fries, chili, and more. As an added bonus (or two) this is a "green" establishment and kids eat free on Monday nights!
