  1. Hi – while visiting Portland, ME i went to Walters. It was recommended for its food quality. I am lactose allergic and many restaurants, as you know are very accommodating. Walters chef goes far beyond. He has a couple of choices for lunch entrees that were exceptional & he even had a dairy free gluten free key lime tart. I have rarely found a desert that I could safely eat. The wait staff said the chef keeps in mind the variety of needs of individuals. It was very good meal with dessert, it was a great experience.
