Though I prefer to stay away from chain restaurants, Pei Wei has become a weekly staple for me. They have an affordable menu with various Asian inspirations. Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean menu options make this place a paradise for dairy-free consumers (though they now use dairy in some surprising menu items, so see the allergen chart before ordering!). Aside from the tofu (which I found sort of strange and rubbery) we have loved every single menu item trialed thus far. Good quality food.

"They post nutritional information online that sites common allergens and according to that there are just eight entrees that are dairy free… Pad Thai, Honey Seared, Caramel Chicken, Sesame, Thai Coconut Curry, Spicy Korean, Sweet and Sour, and Thai Dynamite. Among the small plates (appetizers) the non-dairy include lettuce wraps, bangkok noodles, Black Bean Chicken and Rice, Vegetable Spring Roll, Pork Egg Roll, Potstickers, Edamame, Asain Chopped Chicken Salad, and Vietnamese Chicken Salad Rolls. (their allergen information was just updated March 2012) Their nutritional information is helpful as it lists 12 different allergens, what dishes they are in, and when they can be substituted out of the dish. …unfortunately, the milk is an ingredient that can never be substituted out of the dishes that contain it."
