Romano’s Macaroni Grill

The Macaroni Grill originally came in as a recommendation from Go Dairy Free viewer, Lydia:

For Italian food, we love Romano’s Macaroni Grill. They have a make your own pasta bowl that’s great. You choose the ingredients from a list that you sometimes have to ask for. They have a few other dairy-free things on their menu too.

Thanks Lydia! I’ve eaten there too and the food really is quite good.¬†Unfortunately, the Macaroni Grill seems to be taking a step back recently. They removed the allergen menu from their website and I’ve heard reports that some locations no longer offer gluten-free pasta. At my last visit, a few years ago, they had a small smattering of customized dairy-free options, which I am sure are still available. But hopefully they bring back the allergen menu for better ease in ordering.

As for dessert, they almost always have a seasonal dairy-free sorbet option or two, and it’s usually worth the splurge!

  1. Their menu has recently changed so the link does not work, but I contacted them for an update. They’re working on it.
