NV, Las Vegas – Sushi Mon: A Great Value Off Strip

After trialing several sushi flops (do not go to the sushi buffets in Las Vegas, regardless of rave reviews!!!), we finally discovered Sushi Mon. This Las Vegas sushi institution has two locations and a loyal following. They are well-loved for their all-you-can-eat sushi, but that includes a lot of fried items, cream cheese, etc. We like to flip to the “secret” dinner special menu, which hold fantastic combinations and great values.

Our favorite deal is their sashimi platters. They are fantastic for sushi purists, dairy-free diners, and anyone who loves value. They come with thick cut sashimi, rice, a generous bowl of miso soup, and a real salad. Yes, it’s made with mixed greens – not the iceberg variety served at many Japanese restaurants.

They also have bento boxes and sushi combos that make ordering a breeze. But be sure to check if you are thinking about any tempura items. We have never ordered anything fried there, so I can’t verify if dairy is an issue.

Sushi Mon is a well-loved restaurant in Las Vegas and a great option for dairy-free diners
