The owners at Taste of Egypt reached out to let us know that they have many dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan options for diners. In fact, they have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free labels right on their menu.

Their vegan specialties include several salads, traditional appetizers, full platters, and various falafel dishes. They even have a kids falafel burger! They also have a special selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, including a vegan moussaka tajine and vegan stir fry. For dessert, vegan baklava without the chocolate sauce is available.

They include the Arayes, Beef kofta wrap, Beef burger, Beef kofta plate, Shrimp kebab plate, Rack of lamb, Moussaka Tajine, Seafood Tajine, Kid’s beef burger, and Kid’s beef kofta kebab. The Tajines are also egg-free, and you can order any of the other dairy-free items without garlic mayo to make them egg-free.

The options for gluten-free diners are also expansive at Taste of Egypt. In addition to many naturally gluten-free dishes, they offer gluten-free pita as an accompaniment.
