The Couch Tomato Cafe features fresh, local, and organic ingredients in award-winning artisan pizzas, craft salads, sandwiches, and homemade soups. And yes, they serve many delicious dairy-free options.

The Couch Tomato Café & Bistro in West Chester and Manayunk, PA serves dairy-free pizzas and sandwiches with vegan cheese. Gluten-free options too.

Their soup line-up rotates daily, but it almost always includes a dairy-free option or two. We spotted dairy-free, gluten-free Chicken Fennel and White Bean soup and creamy Vegan Cauliflower soup on their menus.

And they offer Kite Hill vegan cheese for their sandwiches, salads, and pizzas! You can custom build your entree from a plethora of delicious dairy-free ingredients. According to the owner, their focaccia sandwich bread is vegan at the West Chester location, and they are working on a vegan transition at the Manayunk location. In fact,  you can expect to see many more plant-based options emerging at that location over the next year. For now, they do have vegan tortilla wraps, dairy-free gluten-free sandwich bread, and vegan gluten-free pizza crust, all available on request.

In addition to the main entrees, you can order their garlic knots gluten-free or vegan, and the cheesy breadsticks made with that vegan cheese. And they do have a vegan dessert! The Vegan Maddie Bar is made with dairy-free chocolate, nuts, coconut, and rice cereal (it’s gluten-free too!).
