If you’re craving cool, creamy indulgence in Austin, look no further than Vicecreme. This all-vegan ice cream shop masterfully creates a myriad of soft serve and hard pack flavors. I’ve heard that they always have banana-based soft serve, with the option for chocolate twists. But they also make a big range of coconut milk-based flavors with ethically-sourced, vegan ingredients.
The flavor menu does change. On any given day, you might find brownie batter, root beer float, cold brew coffee, milk + cereal, apple pie, peaches and creme, cookies ‘n creme, or snickerdoodle. And they do have classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, too.
Their toppings are far from boring, with options like nostalgic cereals, vegan marshmallows, nutter butters, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and more. And you can enjoy the dairy-free ice cream in a cup, classic cone, or waffle cone.
In addition to scoops, swirls, and sundaes, Vicecreme serves banana splits and a big range of milkshake flavors, including birthday cake! And you can make your own donut ice cream sandwich. Yes, they also serve several varieties of vegan donuts and brownies.
They are open during the afternoon and into the late evening, five days a week. But they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
