Fortunately, the are quite knowledgeable and transparent about which items are vegan-friendly.

Yard House Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Vegan Options and Allergen Notes

Yard House Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Vegan Options

They publicize a vegan menu, and Yard House has finally published their allergen menu online. With those guides, and additional help from their staff, we have put together this updated dairy-free guide.

  • Ahi Sashimi
  • Avocado Toast (no feta spread; vegan)
  • Cali Roll Stack*
  • Chicken Lettuce Wraps*
  • Crispy Traditional Wings (Whiskey Black Pepper, Lemon Pepper, Korean Chili Garlic; Buffalo and BBQ with no ranch dressing)*
  • Firecracker Shrimp*
  • Gardein Wings (Whiskey Black Pepper, Lemon Pepper, Korean Chili Garlic; Buffalo and BBQ with no ranch dressing; vegan)*
  • Grilled Korean BBQ Beef*
  • Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel (no beer cheese sauce (ask for mustard instead!); vegan)
  • Poke Nachos*
  • Spicy Tuna Stack

Heads Up! All of their Boneless Wings do contain milk. According to Yard House’s vegan information, the Buffalo and BBQ sauces are dairy-free, but those wing flavors come with ranch dressing on the side. Ask for another dressing or enjoy them without. And sorry, that cool-looking Onion Ring Tower contains milk.

  • Guacamole & Chips (vegan)*
  • Guacamole & Veggies (vegan)
  • Steamed Edamame (vegan)
  • Hot & Spicy Edamame (vegan)
  • Truffle Fries (no parmesan; vegan)*
  • Sweet Potato Fries (vegan)*

Heads Up! The Shiitake Garlic Noodles surprisingly contain milk.

  • Ahi Crunchy Salad*
  • Gardein BBQ Chicken Salad* (no cheese, no ranch dressing; vegan)
  • House Salad (no croutons, no cheese; vegan)
  • Poke Salad*

Add-Ons: Their Chicken, Shrimp, and Salmon add-ons for making your salad an entrée are all dairy-free, but see the grill note below.*

Street Tacos

  • Carne Asada Taco*
  • Grilled Korean Beef Taco*

Heads Up! At last check, all of their seafood tacos contained milk.

Burgers & Sandwiches

  • Beyond Burger (vegan; see note below)
  • Gardein Chicken & Avocado Sandwich (no cheese; no mayo for vegan; see note below)
  • Hamburger (see note below)*

Heads Up! They have a “new” brioche bun, which reportedly contains dairy. Their Gluten-Free Bun and their Kids Hamburger Bun are reported as dairy-free (the GF bun is also vegan). Make sure to specify your need for a dairy-free bun when ordering. They have listed the Gluten Sensitive Cheeseburger as dairy-free. Obviously, it isn’t. But we have been told that it is dairy-free without the cheese or with vegan mozzarella swapped in. Verify on ordering that it is dairy-free, including the garlic aioli.

Other Entrees

  • Chicken Bowl*
  • Shrimp Bowl*
  • Steak Bowl*
  • Beer-Battered Fish & Chips*
  • Maui Pineapple Chicken*
  • Orange Chicken*
  • Gardein Orange Chicken (vegan)*
  • Loco Moco (Hawaii Only)*

Heads Up! The steaks at Yard House are all listed as containing milk, but this might be due to the sides. Ask if you can order with different sides, and make sure they don’t grill or top the meat with butter. For gluten-free customers, the Shrimp Zoodle Bowl might be dairy-free without parmesan – just ask.

Kids Menu

  • Burger*
  • Fish & Chips*
  • Grilled Chicken with BBQ Sauce or Soy Ginger Sauce*

Heads Up: Sorry kids, the chicken tenders contain milk!

  • French Fries (vegan)*
  • Sweet Potato Fries (vegan)*

  • Jasmine Rice (vegan)
  • Spicy Rice (vegan)
  • Pinto Beans (no cheese; vegan)
  • Steamed Mixed Vegetables (vegan)

* These items are cooked on the grill or in the fryer, which presents a special risk for cross-contamination at Yard House. Menu items containing milk and other top allergens are also cooked on the grill or in the fryer.
