You can spike these drinks with rum, we won't tell (about 4 ounces will do it!). But this virgin version is an everyone-friendly treat that even kids can enjoy. Please note that the Prep time is hands on time only. Allow about 20 minutes for your ice cream maker to do its thing, or longer if you are using the no ice cream maker method.

Serves: 3 to 4 daquiris
Ingredients
2 cups strawberries, hulled + 4 unhulled strawberries for garnish
2¾ cups water
¾ cup sugar
½ cup lime juice
Dairy-free whip topping (see post above)
Instructions
Put the water, strawberries, sugar, and lime juice in your blender and process until smooth.
Pour the mixture in your ice cream maker and process according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Divide the daiquiri mixture between 3 to 4 cocktail glasses and top each with dairy-free whip.
Notes
No Ice Cream Maker? Reserve 1 cup of the water (put just 1¾ cups in your blender). Pour the strawberry mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until solid. Place the cubes in your blender with the remaining 1 cup water. Pulse to break up the cubes, and then process until smooth ans slushy.
