Cinnamon Banana Date Almond Smoothies

This fresh smoothie doesn't require any packaged ingredients. The almonds turn into almond milk right before your eyes! Please note that the Prep time is hands on time only. Be sure to soak the almonds in advance.

  • 2 bananas (optionally frozen)
  • ⅓ cup almonds, soaked for 8 hours, drained, and rinsed
  • ¼ cup pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup ice (optional)
  1. Place the bananas, almonds, dates, cinnamon, and salt in your blender and add the water. Blend until smooth
  2. For a cooler shake, blend in the ice.
  3. Divide the smoothie between 2 glasses and serve.
