It doesn't get much easier than this simple pizza sauce. It can cook while you prepare the rest of your pizza, or while you par-bake the pizza dough, if needed.

Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce (like Hunt's)
1½ teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
½ teaspoon fennel seeds
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
In a small saucepan, whisk together the tomato sauce, sugar, oregano, basil, rosemary, fennel, salt, and garlic powder.
Place the pan over medium heat and bring the sauce to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from the heat, and let cool for a few minutes before spreading on your pizza crust.
