Maple-Glazed Carrots with Warm Spices

These quick carrots have a simple, sweet, and impressive fragrant glaze. Small carrots are used in the photo, but pre-cut baby carrots work great if you aren't worried about fancy presentation.
Serves: 4 servings
  1. Place the carrots, water, cinnamon, and ginger and ginger in a large skillet and stir until well combined.
  2. Place the skillet over high heat, cover, and cook for 6 minutes or until almost tender.
  3. Stir in the maple syrup and buttery spread. Cook, uncovered, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the carrots are well-glazed.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and season with salt.
