Serves: 12 energy bites
Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • ⅓ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup hemp seed butter (see post above for options)
  • 2 tablespoon agave nectar or honey
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla flavoring or extract
  • Pinch sea salt
  • ¼ cup shelled hemp seeds (also called hemp hearts)
Instructions
  1. Stir the coconut, raisins, seed butter, sweetener, vanilla, and salt together in a small bowl until well combined. Then mash it together with your hands. Yes, it’s sticky and gooey.
  2. Place the hemp seeds in a small bowl.
  3. Roll the dough into balls, using about 2 teaspoons worth of dough for each. Then, gently roll the balls in the hemp seeds to coat
  4. For best results, let them “set up” and get firm in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes before serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator or freezer.
