Ingredients
  • 1 cup leftover chai (chai tea + dairy-free milk beverage)
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • ½-1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop dairy-free protein powder (vanilla or plain), optional
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ice, optional
Instructions
  1. Blend until creamy and smooth.
  2. Pour into a tall glass and top with sweet and savory granola- like the Paleo People Apple Crisp Granola that I used here.
Notes
If you want to make this a little less smoothie and add a little more green, spinach would be the perfect green-of-choice to add in. This recipe is Vegan, Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, Gluten-Free, Peanut-Free, Wheat-Free, optionally Sugar-Free, optionally Soy-Free, and optionally Nut-Free. You can sub your favorite milk alternative for the almond milk (to make it nut-free), and choose your protein powder wisely if you want soy-free and sugar-free. There are many unsweetened hemp and brown rice protein powders on the market.
