Total time
This is your template for making a delicious, healthy green smoothie. See the post above for tips!
Recipe type: Drinks
Cuisine: American
Serves: 1 serving
  • 2 cups spinach leaves
  • 1 cup dairy-free vanilla milk beverage (see protein note below)
  • 2 tablespoons dairy-free vanilla yogurt
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseed meal (optional)
  1. Add the spinach, milk beverage, yogurt, banana, and flaxseed to your blender, in that order. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and enjoy!
Protein Note: The nutrition facts were calculated with a basic almond milk. Renu likes to use a protein-enriched almond milk. The brand she used is discontinued, and it is getting harder to find vanilla protein milk alternatives. Orgain has a protein almond milk, and some pea protein options are still available. Or you can use your favorite dairy-free vanilla milk beverage, and add a little protein powder. See the post above for tips.
