Red Hot Blood Cleanser Watermelon Smoothie

The natural sweetness of the fruit and the brilliant colors make this detox smoothie an enticing healthy find with a surprising kick. (Pictured center)
Serves: 2 1-cup servings
  • 2 cups watermelon chunks
  • 1 small to medium beet, washed
  • 1 apple, seeded and cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon apple juice concentrate
  • ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  1. Place all ingredients in your blender with the watermelon on the bottom. Turn the blender on slow speed until the watermelon has liquefied, then increase the speed and blend 1 minute or until liquefied.
  2. Divide the watermelon smoothie between 2 cups and serve.
