Zapper Watermelon Smoothie or Juice

The zesty, zingy ingredients in this simple smoothie or juice could "zap" any summer bugs before they take hold! (Pictured right)
Serves: 2 servings
  • 2 cups watermelon cubes
  • ⅓ large lemon, peeled
  • 1 1 /2 tablespoons peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 medium carrots
  • Ice, for juice
  1. Juice all ingredients in a conventional juicer.
  2. OR, place all ingredients in your blender with the watermelon on the bottom. Turn the blender on slow speed until the watermelon has liquefied. Increase the speed and blend 2 minutes, or until liquefied.
  3. Serve juice over ice or simply divide the smoothie between 2 glasses.
