Nuts for Pineapple Smoothie

Serves: 1 smoothie
  • ½ cup (8 ounces) plain dairy-free yogurt (an almond-based one if possible!)
  • ½ cup unsweetened dairy-free almond milk beverage
  • 2½ ounces fresh pineapple
  • 20 whole blanched and slivered almonds
  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt alternative, almond milk, pineapple, and almonds and puree until smooth and creamy.
Note: Other low-carb fruits or nuts can be substituted for pineapple and/or almonds.
