This nutty smoothie has an unexpected but tasty combination of almonds and pineapple. For a purely tropical blend, you can substitute macadamia nuts and full-fat, unsweetened coconut milk yogurt.

Ingredients
½ cup (8 ounces) plain dairy-free yogurt (an almond-based one if possible!)
½ cup unsweetened dairy-free almond milk beverage
2½ ounces fresh pineapple
20 whole blanched and slivered almonds
Instructions
In a blender, combine the yogurt alternative, almond milk, pineapple, and almonds and puree until smooth and creamy.
Notes
Note: Other low-carb fruits or nuts can be substituted for pineapple and/or almonds.
