This smoothie is very heavy on frozen fruit, which might be too much for some blenders. You can partially defrost some of the fruit, or use some fresh fruit, if your blender isn't powerful enough or if you prefer a thinner smoothie.

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries, plus additional whole for garnish (optional)
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries, frozen
  • 1 cup frozen pitted cherries, plus additional with stem for garnish (optional)
  • 1 ripe banana, broken into pieces and frozen
  • 1½ cups 100% apple juice
  1. Add the strawberries, raspberries, cherries, and banana to your blender. Pour in the apple juice. Puree on high until smooth.
  2. Serve garnished with fresh strawberries and cherries, if desired.
Tips: If you have ripe or overripe bananas to use up, flash freeze them. You can use them in smoothies like this one, as needed, or even defrost and mash for baking.
