These homemade croutons are so easy and delicious, you'll wonder why you ever bought them! these have a basic garlic and herb seasoning, but you can play around with the flavor using other herbs, fresh or dried, onion powder, and even dairy-free seasoning blends.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups dairy-free bread cubes (1/2-inch size; can sub gluten-free bread)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon dried parsley, basil, rosemary, or Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • Pinch black pepper, or to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
  2. Place the bread cubes in a large bowl, and drizzle on the olive oil, stirring as you drizzle.
  3. In a small dish, combine the herbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the bread cubes and stir to coat.
  5. Bake the croutons for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they have crisped up to your liking, stirring after 10 minutes.
