- ½ cup oats (rolled or quick; certified gluten-free, if needed)
- 14 strawberries (if using frozen, use fresh banana)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup unsweetened dairy-free milk alternative
- 1½ teaspoons sugar, honey, or agave nectar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Grind the oats in your spice grinder or blender.
- Add the ground oats, strawberries, banana, sweetener, and vanilla to your blender. Pour in the milk alternative. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Divide the smoothie between two glasses – or enjoy it as one big smoothie.
Cinnamon Option: Add ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon to your blender with the other ingredients.
