Ingredients
  • ½ cup oats (rolled or quick; certified gluten-free, if needed)
  • 14 strawberries (if using frozen, use fresh banana)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened dairy-free milk alternative
  • 1½ teaspoons sugar, honey, or agave nectar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Grind the oats in your spice grinder or blender.
  2. Add the ground oats, strawberries, banana, sweetener, and vanilla to your blender. Pour in the milk alternative. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Divide the smoothie between two glasses – or enjoy it as one big smoothie.
Notes
Cinnamon Option: Add ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon to your blender with the other ingredients.
