Gluten-Free Mall (Worldwide): An Allergy-Friendly Shopping Destination

    2
By Alisa Fleming on May 8, 2019 Food and Grocery, Online Food Retailers

As the name implies, Gluten-Free Mall is a gluten-free retailer. But they cater to a range of other dietary needs, including dairy-free. They don’t have a storefront, but ship a big array of dry and frozen goods direct to customers in the U.S. and globally.

The Gluten-Free Mall: A Shop for Hard to Find Gluten-Free, Milk-Free Goods

Gluten-Free Mall is an Allergy-Friendly Shopping Destination

This is a great shop for finding gluten-free breads, pastas, cakes, donuts, brownies, cereals, flours, baking supplies, and snack foods. They also sell dairy-free drinks, frozen desserts, sauces, and even some frozen meals. Their selection has grown quite a bit over the years.

They do carry several products that contain dairy and other top allergens, but they use bold icons and categories to make the shopping experience more efficient. Their labels include dairy-free, corn-free, nut-free, soy-free, egg-free, kosher, vegan, paleo, and more. Oddly, they use a gluten-free icon, too, even though their entire inventory is free of gluten.

Their staff does a fantastic job sourcing hard-to-find and unique products. I write about dairy-free foods for a living, and discovered several new-to-me brands while browsing their store.

    Heads Up!

Check the ingredients carefully while shopping and before placing your order. We saw the “dairy-free” label on a couple of items that obviously contained dairy. The icons are a nice idea, but mis-coding can happen when items are entered! If you see something mis-labeled, be sure to contact them. They seem to be responsive.

    Shipping Policies for Gluten-Free Mall

All orders are shipped rom their facility in Pennsylvania. Gluten-Free Mall does ship outside of the Continental U.S., but the rates below are for the 48 contiguous states. Rates for Alaska, Hawaii, and international locations are calculated at checkout.

    • Dry Goods: Free Shipping on orders over $39 ($9 flat rate shipping under $39)
    • Frozen Goods: UPS Rates

Please…I need some help with this. I just found out I have allergies to Gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, salmon, and rice!! . I’m also intolerant to many other foods, including some of my favorite veggies. I’m looking for a shopping website for healthy foods…one that you can choose “filters” to eliminate the shopping list to appropriate foods I can order to eat. Do you have any suggestions? I’d really appreciate any help. -Jessica
