  1. My favorite holiday dish has always been my mom’s rice dressing. She veganized a version for me this year. I was so happy. I’ve turned into a cooking fiend as of late, and would love some new cookbooks. 🙂

  2. My family and I have come to love sweet potato casserole. We do make it Gluten free and Dairy free my kids go crazy about it. I would love to hear about some other ideas that people have.

  3. I have been vegan for 12 years and I have been able to pretty much veganize everything that I missed from my family dinners. However, just this past Thanksgiving I finally perfected the green bean casserole. It was delicious and my picky vegan husband even liked it. I just found your blog! I will share you with the team at Vegan Cuts!

Our holidays are changing a little bit as its the first holiday after figuring out food allergies but I’ll find a me favorite dish.

  5. I am from a HUGE family with 15 kids. Finding a dish to bring to holiday dinners that pleases everyone is tough. But I am in LOVE with mashed cauliflower (to replace potatoes) and an awesome vegan gravy made from the boiled down broth of the cauliflower. Potatoes, I found, were a depressant. So to make my holiday vegan dinners even healthier and more flavorful I mixed it up!

December 9th also happens to be my birthday… Hint hint wink wink

  6. My favorite holiday food is my mom’s homemade pumpkin pie. She made it dairy-free for me this year and it was perfect!

  7. My favorite holiday dish is probably my mom’s homemade swedish meatballs. What’s nice is that they are dairy and egg free so my 2 daughters with food allergies can eat them! I would love to win these cookbooks as we are always looking for new dairy and egg free (and nut) recipes to try.

  8. My favorite holiday dish so far this year has been an amazing vegan chocolate-pecan pie a friend brought over for Thanksgiving. She was so sweet to make sure it was allergen-free for everyone at the dinner even though she does not have any allergy issues. It was incredibly thoughtful and super tasty.

Shared the link. Also my favorite holiday dish is my Grandmother’s turkey and dumplings and her homemade Mac and cheese. Something I have missed since we have been allergy free. (Gluten, wheat, dairy, egg, corn and pork free)

  10. My favorite holiday food would have to be Monkey Balls (or cinnamon rolls, depending on how you look at it.) Just need to figure out how to make these dairy free this year for my daughter!
