Smile, they’re School Safe and Allergy-Friendly!

Back in 2018, Enjoy Life adopted an eye-catching teal color for all of their packaging. It signified their dedication to the food allergy community. But this year, they’re leveling up with a completely new design. It still has that stunning allergy aware hue, but the updated look adds clarity and has the friendliest logo I’ve ever seen.

Essential Information at a Glance

It’s important to the Enjoy Life team that their commitment to customer needs is transparent. So they’ve prominently displayed the following information on the front of each box:

  • School Safe – You, your child’s teacher, and other classroom parents can be certain that Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies meet tree nut-free and peanut-free policies. In fact, they are “worry-free” snacks suitable for most classmate food allergies.
  • Made in a Dedicated Nut Free & Gluten Free Facility – These cookies are made in Enjoy Life’s flagship facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana, which actually goes beyond gluten- and nut-free. Their dedicated production facility follows strict allergen protocols, and doesn’t handle any dairy, egg, nut, peanut, soy, wheat, fish, shellfish, lupin, mustard, or sesame ingredients.
  • Gluten-Free Certified and Non-GMO Verified – These proudly displayed seals are additional reassurances of Enjoy Life’s product quality and attention to detail.

Is that a Bear on a Cookie Bicycle?

The amusing visual theme and unique accent colors of their new packaging help you to quickly distinguish between products in your pantry. But the playful look is also designed to entertain, and to let consumers know that allergen-free can be fun and delicious. Just ask the cookie parachuting into dairy-free milk on the box – it seems to be having a good time!

And their new logo is a cheerful reminder that we all deserve to enjoy life. Food allergies are serious, but snack time should be a treat!

Enjoy Life adds Oatmeal Raisin to Soft Baked Cookies Selection

I couldn’t be happier with this new variety. Both my father and I have a passion for oatmeal raisin cookies, and these Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies deliver with tender, hearty goodness that beckons to homemade. The texture is abundant with thick, toothsome oats and plump, juicy raisins. And the taste has a wholesome, warm, and comforting sweet flavor with a very subtle hint of cinnamon. They’re delicious straight from the box, but even better when gently heated.

Like all Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies, the Oatmeal Raisin morsels are free from 14 allergens, certified gluten free, and kosher pareve. But these beauties are also made with whole grain Purity Protocol Gluten Free Oats and real California raisins.

Could it be the Perfect Top Allergen-Free Cookie Recipe?

Whenever I hear the words “formula change” on a product my family loves, I cringe. Fortunately, Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies are just as delicious as ever. In fact, we didn’t even realize there had been a recipe update when we tried the new boxes.

So what has changed? The tweaks are relatively minor, but help to entice those last remaining allergen-free doubters. Enjoy Life’s chefs swapped the brown sugar with cane sugar (still vegan-friendly), which dissolves better in the dough to create a more seamless texture. The remaining ingredients saw slight adjustments, but nothing else was added or removed. They are still free-from fourteen food allergens, and baked in Enjoy Life’s dedicated facility.

Honestly, we loved these cookies before, so we didn’t crave any changes. But we’re still happy! And you can bet there will be many dairy-free soft baked cookie charcuterie boards in my future.
