Alisa Fleming ~ I’d like to announce the newest member of the Go Dairy Free team, Sarah Hatfield! You may have seen Sarah on Go Dairy Free previously, as a guest contributor, but she is now the official Associate Editor and a Contributing Writer for our little team. Sarah will be helping with many of the day-to-day projects that I’ve been manning myself for years:
- Product reviews (See Sarah’s first food review contribution: Sweet Pete’s Chocolate & Confections)
- Recipe creation (See Sarah’s first recipe contribution: Dairy-Free Mashed Potatoes)
- Family-friendly articles
- Feature updates
Sarah will also take part in some of our new projects, including:
- Building the Dairy-Free Community
- Publication editor (we have 3 new dairy-free books in the works!)
Sarah has already done a complete update to our Fast Food Listings. Head to the Fast Food Section to check out all of the updated no dairy options.
Sarah Hatfield has many years of “real world” experience as a food allergy mama to a severely milk allergic child. Sarah blogs at No Whey, Mama about daily life and juggling a severe food allergy in her household of six. She also brings a strong background of writing and editing to the dairy-free table:
- MA in Communication, University of Kentucky
- BA in English Lit and Writing/Communications, Maryville College
- Freelance Writer / Editor
- Copy Editor for Thoroughbred Times magazine
- Content Writer for Travelago.com
- Intern at Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood (Sarah promises to never remove this one from her resume!)
I happily welcome Sarah and know that she will add so much more to enjoy on Go Dairy Free!
