I will be attending several events this year and already have a handful scheduled in for speaking, sponsoring, or perusing. I hope to see many of you! Just look for me, Alisa Fleming, or feel free to touch bases ahead of the event if you would like to connect.
Also, for those of you who have been asking, yes, a second dairy-free book is due out soon! It is a dairy-free cookbook supplement to Go Dairy Free, and will finally (I swear!) be available this spring. I will post it up as soon as it is available for pre-sale.
At this moment, registration is still open on all of the events below!
Expo West – March 7-9, 2014
I’m just starting to fill up my schedule. Thus far I have Califia Farms, Ian’s Natural Foods, Sophie’s Kitchen and Dr. Praeger’s jotted down for meet-ups. If there are any companies (or types of products) that you want to make sure I check out, either for Go Dairy Free or Allergic Living, feel free to comment below! The show is immense, but I’ll do my best to learn all that I can about what’s available for our dairy-free and food allergy communities. I will be attending this show as media.
Event Location: Anaheim Convention Center, CA

Camp Blogaway – May 16-18, 2014
This is currently my favorite general food blogger event. Out in nature, but far from roughing it (heated cabins, hot showers, and all the food I can eat – even dairy-free desserts!), this wonderful event is more intimate and interactive than any other. I also love that the daily attire is jeans and hoodies! Last year I went on behalf of a natural food company and to simply join in the fun. This year, I’ll be speaking on self-publishing in the panel “Your Book Is Your Baby, Keep All the Control”.
Event Location: Angelus Oaks, CA (Southern California’s San Bernardino Mountains)

This is an AMAZING event for anyone in our community. The food was the best that I’d ever had at an event and there was ample space to relax and be low stress while chatting with other like-minded people. The panels and talks were incredible – covering everything from the latest food allergy research to activism to your making food allergies your business. Note that you DO NOT have to be a blogger to attend this event. My role isn’t finalized as of yet, but I will be there, and there is a good chance that I will be speaking.

Food Allergy & Celiac Convention – November 22, 2014
How could I miss an event at Disney World! They are still working out the agenda, but you can expect great companies, cookbook authors, speakers, information, food and a fun atmosphere. I will be speaking at this event.
Event Location: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Lake Buena Vista, FL
