Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads

Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads Review (vegan, dairy-free, healthy, high quality)Though many dairy-free chocolate spreads have emerged, Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads are still trusted, healthy classics.

It wasn’t until recently that I made the solid connection between cacao beans and chocolate. But thanks to the raw food movement, my knowledge keeps on growing. Terms like raw cacao and cacao butter are now things I seek out when I get a craving for chocolate. Needless to say, my cravings quickly led me to the Raw Coconut version of Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads.

Artisana is most known for their raw nut butters, but they also work a good deal of magic with cacao and coconut butter. With it, they have created Raw Coconut Cacao Bliss, which is referred to as “a rich, creamy, chocolaty coconut spreadable nectar.” It’s solid at cooler room temperatures, but once the jar warms up, it turns into a smooth, spreadable chocolate.

Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads Review (dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, vegan)

The coconut-based Cacao Bliss is the original flavor of Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads and the only one we have had a chance to try. But Artisana has since introduced a few more varieties. These rich decadent spreads are now available made with sunflower seeds, cashews, and hazelnuts.

We enjoyed it as the “icing” in our graham sandwich cookies. I set them in the fridge allowing the sauce become a thick frosting consistency. It has such a rich deepness with a dark cacao flavor and pleasant sweetness.

For a decadent treat, Cacao Bliss acts like a ‘Magic Shell’ when drizzled on ice cream. It solidifies as it reaches the ice cream to create a snappy chocolate shell and is so addicting.
