Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads come in Three Blissful Varieties

Artisana is most known for their raw nut butters, but they also work a good deal of magic with cacao. With it, they have created a line of Artisana Organic Cacao Spreads that are quite rich, creamy, and chocolaty.

The coconut-based Cacao Bliss is the original flavor of Artisana Organics Cacao Spreads and the only one we have had a chance to try. But Artisana has since introduced these rich, decadent spreads in a couple more varieties, Hazelnut Cacao and Cashew Cacao.

We enjoyed the Coconut Cacao Bliss it as the “icing” in our graham sandwich cookies (pictured below). I set them in the fridge allowing the sauce become a thick frosting consistency. It has such a rich deepness with a dark cacao flavor and pleasant sweetness.

Cacao Bliss can also act like a ‘Magic Shell’ when drizzled on ice cream. It solidifies as it reaches the ice cream to create a snappy chocolate shell that is so addicting.

    Rich and delicious

I tried the Coconut Cacao Bliss, which is a little rich for me as a spread on bread, but it is delicious on ice cream or as a dessert topping. It does have definite coconut influence in the flavor, which can be good, but sometimes doesn’t quite fit.
