Cherrybrook Kitchen Frosting Mix is Icing on the Allergy-Friendly Cake

I am a frosting lover. To me, cake is just a medium for frosting delivery. In fact, I prefer frosting on fruit or graham crackers. Why mess around with baking a full dessert just to get to the frosting? So I was sad when most of the Cherrybrook Kitchen Frosting line was discontinued. They used to make two flavors of ready-to-spread frosting and two flavors of mixes, but now they have one lone frosting mix. Here’s hoping that one hangs on!

Cherrybrook Kitchen Frosting Mix Reviews and Info - dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, and gluten-free

Cherrybrook Kitchen Frosting Mix is Icing on the Allergy-Friendly Cake

Cherrybrook Kitchen has been whisking up dairy-free and nut-fee baking mixes in their dedicated facility for more than a decade. The frosting mixes are meant to be paired with their cake mixes. They call for 2 sticks of dairy-free buttery sticks and 2 tablespoons of dairy-free milk beverage to prepare. Truth be told, I find it pretty easy just to whip up my own frosting, but Cherrybrook Kitchen Frosting Mix is tasty, if you prefer a shortcut.

    Frosting beyond expectations

    Rated 5 out of 5
    February 14, 2019

We’ve only sampled the Chocolate Mix thus far, but the results were far beyond expectations. Spoons and bowls were licked clean before we even got to piling the frosting on desserts. It has a creamy finish that isn’t too “cocoa” or “fudgy” like so many dairy-free versions. One box also makes enough to generously frost a 2-layer cake.
